FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSIDAD-EMPRESA www.fue.es The Fundación Universidad-Empresa (FUE), founded in 1973, is the only spanish institution which has all the 14 public and private universities of Madrid as patrons. The FUE acts as a center for information, advice and coordination for universities and companies in three strategic areas; training, employment and innovation. The project An application was programmed to manage contacts between university programmes and more than 10,000 candidates and students. The system manages each candidate's status during the selection process, quarterly payments made by students and the interface with the bank for transfer of these funds. The application was programmed for 15 users client/server using Visual Basic 6 on an MS SQL Server database.
